Knobs are absolute crap!

We are on our second set of knobs because they're plastic and crack easily. I can't believe the low quality of the knobs on this cooktop.

Knobs are worthless

The knobs are absolute garbage. All knobs broke within the fist 30 days of use. Replacing the knobs costs half of the whole unit. Ridiculous. I can only hope Fridgidaire makes this right.

HOW DO KNOBS JUST BREAK!?

All 4 of my knobs have now broken and I’m only 2 years into this stovetop. It’s an absolute disgrace. Not to mention, that the metal scratches very easily and everything sticks! I use my stove daily. I have resorted to turning in my stove with this pliers!

We recommend making sure that you're not using any abrasive or harsh chemicals to clean your cooktop and that you're wiping it down with a paper towel or microfiber cloth.

Faster Heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an electric stove top before we renovated our entire kitchen and you can definitely tell a huge difference in heat output and cook time in the gas range. Our food heats up much faster in a shorter period of time. This cooktop is easy to clean and works great. We love it.

poorly made knobs

looks like I´m not the only one with broken knobs, the cost of replacement is too much for the poorly made knobs that will break again.

Absolute waste of money!

It's apparent by the other reviews that buyers are having major issues with the knobs on this unit. I'm now a year in and all of 4 of mine are broken, the cheap plastic back has broken. My first one broke in the first couple of weeks of using it. Aside from the inconvenience of having ALL the knobs break, the replacements are outrageously expensive! And the knobs are the same so I'll pay a small fortune to replace the ones that are broken - confident that these will also break. It's disheartening that a company can read reviews, know there's a problem with their product and do nothing to solve the problem except to continue to charge their customers. Very frustrating and disappointing. You would think that a company that specializes in appliances could make a solid knob built to last.

Seems like I'm not the only user with a complaint about breaking stove knobs (argh!!).

Broken Knobs
