Poorly manufactured gas cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this gas cooktop as part of the pre-selected items for our new home. Although the burners work as intended, I would not have selected this particular model due to the following issues:
- The materials do not seem to be of the highest quality, such as the drip pan area which is quite thin and susceptible to dents and scratches.
- The cooktop is difficult to clean. such as in the knob area. If the knobs are removable, I can't tell because they don't pull off easily. Rather, I feel like I am going to break them if I try to pull too hard.
- The grates are cumbersome. If I move them in the wrong way when attempting to clean the unit, they will scratch the thin drip pan area.

Poor workmanship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gas cooktop works well, but the metal area around each of the burners is thin and scratches easily. I would not have selected this cooktop if I had been able to choose my appliances for this house. When I think of gas cooktops, I believe they should be sturdy, way to clean, and convenient to use. This cooktop is none of these things.

Very cheap knobs - Knob broke in 8 months

I was surprised to find out that the Knob was very cheaply made. The knob of the high flame burner broke which is the most used burner. I was in a little panick for few minutes as I was unsure if the gas was Off or not.

Knobs worthless

The cooking is fine, unfortunately the area around the burners has scorched and unable to clean satisfactorily. The knobs are cheap plastic and all the stems have broken. Extremely surprised a company would skimp on their quality

CHEAP AND HORRIBLE KNOBS

I really like the look of the cooktop, but the knobs are junk. The stem is plastic and all 4 of them have cracked and broken and no longer able to be used. With the product from Frigidaire I'd expect better quality from this company. I can buy the replacement knobs but they will just break again and I'd have to waste more money replacing the knobs. Very disappointed in the product.

Gas stove top

This stove top cleans very easily, the burns don’t take for ever to light and the appearance is stunning. I highly recommend this stovetop due to the reasonable price and top quality.

Terrible quality

I wish I would have read these reviews before we purchased the stove top. The knobs are cheap brittle plastic all have broken. Buyer beware!
