Neat Looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like this products since it is very hard to clean the grates. I had a GE gas range for 17 yrs and its looking nicer than a brand new cooktop I purchased, how on earth are you suppose to wash those grids. My suggestion get the Electric cooktop even though it involves getting different connection and is more expensive. If I would have the opportunity to change it I would.

The grates should be very simple to clean! They lift easily off the cooktop in two pieces, and should be washed with water and mild dish soap. Further information is available in the Cleaning section of the Owner's Manual. Please be sure they are fully dry before returning them to the cooktop!

We got the cooktop as a package along with dishwasher and owen appliances. So far all works great and have a contemporary modern look to all.

not the best design

I had to replace a gas cook top that I had used for about 7 years with this one. I don't like it as well. It's not set up as convenient because it sits up higher than the older one and the control knobs are on the center front instead of down the right side, so consequently while lifting my heavy canning kettle up and over to the burner, I broke the center left knob. They are plastic knobs, which isn't what they are telling me when I tried to replace it. The knob is not "stainless steel." Other than that it cooks fine.
