The knobs do not match the price!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5 Months into use and 2 knobs are not usable. They are plastic and they crack/break on the inside, no longer able to turn the burner controls. One day, as i turned the knob, gas started to flow to ignite but did not fully make it to the ignite setting. The knob was broken and would not fit tight enough on the burner control to allow shutting off or fully igniting. Luckily i was able to grab some needle nose pliers to fully turn it off. This is a poor design that needs to be re-evaluated.

Horrible Range

This stove is very cheap. The knob broke within the 1st month. They replaced it however when two more broke under a year they would not replace them because they said I only had 6 months for parts. No matter how careful you are this plastic will break. It’s plastic. The entire knob.

Poor Quality

Bought this new one year ago. Within six months the cheap knob inserts broke. Order four new ones at an outrageous cost, but they broke in less that three months.
The only solution seems to be tear it out, throw it in the trash, and buy a GE.

Knobs melting and breaking, very cheap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like a lot of other reviews here, the knobs are horrible quality. Made of plastic that either break or melt easily. Contacted Frigidaire after first one broke and they mailed me a replacement. One month later 2 more broke. So Frigidaire sent out a service company who said nothing is wrong and just to order new knobs. This is ridiculous. Will be bringing this up with the Product Safety Commission since the quality of these knobs can actually prevent you from turning off the gas if they break at the wrong moment.

This is the second time a knob has broken. We've only been in my house 7 months. I HATE the black cheap plastic that surrounds the metal. It is not sturdy and all of the knobs are starting to crack.

Nice cooktop

CHEAP AND HORRIBLE KNOBS

I really like the look of the cooktop, but the knobs are junk. The stem is plastic and all 4 of them have cracked and broken and no longer able to be used. With the product from Frigidaire I'd expect better quality from this company. I can buy the replacement knobs but they will just break again and I'd have to waste more money replacing the knobs. Very disappointed in the product.
