3 of 4 knobs are cracked and will not work - Poor design - Safety issue

We have had normal use of the cooktop for six months and now have 3 of the 4 knobs broken in the last month. At first I thought it was my fault - then the 2nd one broke and now a third has broken. I looked in the reviews and there are easily over 40 people with the same issue. I'm afraid to use the cooktop because if it does not light then we have gas pouring into our house with the only way to turn it off is with pliers. Frigidaire need to replace these with ones that will not break. Your engineers failed.

Faulty knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had frigidaire gastop stove for only 4 months and all 4 of my knobs are cracked. I cannot believe how this could have happened when I only had the gastop stove for 4 months. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way the knobs have cracked.

Poor quality knobs

I have had gas stoves all my life and have never had a problem with knobs. Our cooktop was installed December 2019 and a knob broke in February 2020. Before I received a replacement knob, 2 more broke. I bought an extended warranty and was told knobs are not covered by warranty. I am very disappointed with this purchase as I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and can't afford to keep buying replacement knobs.

Cheap Knobs

I moved into my new house the first of July and by the end of the month I had two broken knob's and I now have three!!! Can't believe they cannot engineer something better than that. From reading the reviews I am not the only one complaining.

Terrible quality

I wish I would have read these reviews before we purchased the stove top. The knobs are cheap brittle plastic all have broken. Buyer beware!

Very cheap knobs - Knob broke in 8 months

I was surprised to find out that the Knob was very cheaply made. The knob of the high flame burner broke which is the most used burner. I was in a little panick for few minutes as I was unsure if the gas was Off or not.

Defective control knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The burners are great. But after 2 months of usage, two of the plastic control knobs have broken off. Frigidaire is very good at sending me replacement control knobs, but I don't know what will happen once the warranty is out after 1 year.
