Kills touchscreen responsiveness

I bought this when it first got released and it was terrible with the touch screen, but I like how well protected the phone feels. Now that the note 7s have been recalled im stuck with this case and now I have an s7 edge. Dont think ill be getting another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defender Series used to be a top dog...

Case arrived today. I am big fan of defender. I i have bought 6 defender cases for different phones and loved them all but one. This one. The screen protector makes my screen almost non-responsive to lite touch, makes me feel like when the first touch screen phones came out, you have to press really hard on the screen to open a menu or send a text. Just like that. I am returning it I guess.

I really like the case, and have had defenders and other otter boxes for all my other devices. My only real gripe is the screen protector. The opening at the top is too big and allows air and dust in. Its not a deal breaker, but it is a nuisance.

Terrible Defender Case for Note 7

I just got the Otterbox Defender Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. I have used Otterbox defender cases for the past 10 years for my various iPhones. The previous cases were great, well designed, easy to open and clean, having good feel and grip.
This new case is rigid and extremely hard to get on my Note 7. The included installation card was not even for the same case, which gave the instruction to bend the case to get it to fit the phone; this case is rigid and cannot bend at all. The hard plastic case is also very slippery with not a good grip.
The screen cover is also badly designed. It was difficult to open to get the phone inserted but even more difficult to reinstall.
If Otterbox offers a better replacement to this design, I would definitely take it.

I got this a few days ago and so far really not impressed. Its the most expensive and supposed to be the best case but its big and bulky and the cheesy little plastic screen leaves a gap between the glass screen so all kinds of stuff gets in there and makes it hard to use the touch screen. And also the volume keys and power button keys on sides of phone are almost impossible to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great case but the screen cover could be better

The case is excellent in quality and design. The cut outs are perfect and the holster is convenient. However, the built in screen protector is a thin plastic film that doesn't contour to the screen causing me to have to press much harder as the screen doesnt respond to my touches. I have requested a replacement in hopes that it may just be a defect. I will update my review if the replacement has a better quality screen protector.

Bought this a wile ago and only issue I have is the screen protector. There is alot of dust , or other things that get under the screeb protector. I have to take it apart and clean it. Just a pain in the butt really. Other then that the case is pretty good at protecting the phone.
