I have to say Otterbox is the best!!! Read all the reviews and thought oh no!!! I purchased anyway, and have to say I am glad I did. The case fits perfectly, no issues at all. I have never been disappointed when it comes to Otterbox.

Worst Defender ever

I have purchased around 10 defender cases for everything from all me phones to all of my tablets. I do not think I will ever buy another one. The quality of this case is the worst ever. Screen protector is so loose on the screen dust just falls right in it. The rubber case is not even molded to the hard case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Defender Case Yet!

We've owned Defender series cases for all Samsung phones in our household for several years (Note2, Note4, Note5, S4, S6, S7) as well as several iPhone Defenders. This is the ONLY bad Defender I've ever owned!
I'm having most of the issues others are having. Having to hammer away with my fingers in order to type is annoying, especially when trying to type with keys near the edge of the screen protector. My case is full of dust after less than 24 hours of use as the cutouts in the screen protector at the top and bottom of the case have gaps between the screen and protector.
I know Otterbox would be willing to send out another case as part of their warranty program. But after reading most of the other reviews posted, I'm fairly sure the replacement case will have the same issues.

It's just ok.....not as good as other cases...

it's an ok case, as with other posts, screen protector is not the greatest. Holster is not sturdy either, broke my clip within two days of having the case. Extremely dissapointed in color options too. only having black is such a bummer. Luckily warranty replacement is on the way but still just an ok case....

Needs work

I bought 2 of these cases and also have the same issue of the screen protector gap. Makes it difficult to tap areas on the screen. I always thought otter box made the best cases. I have to say I'm disappointed especially because these aren't cheap.

I bought this few weeks ago. Used it for 3 days then took it off. It makes it much harder to use the Touchscreen. Will only be usei g for when I go out camping. Also lets a lot of dust under the screen protector.

Home button

My previous phone was a Note 4. The Defender case had a notch at the bottom of the home button so you could swipe your finger to read your finger print. The Note 7 case does not have this notch thereby rendering the fingerprint reader useless while in the case. A design oversight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Like the otter box protection for the outside of my Note 7. Purchased the defender case for maximum protection. My issue is with screen protector. It doesn't sit close enough to the screen. Dog Hair and dust constantly finds it's way thru opening at top near front camera and the home button. Very disappointed
