Love otterbox, however, disappointed this time

I have had 4 otterbox defender's for 4 different devices over the years, all have been flawless and perfect, including with the warping of the rubber over time too (I delt with it, just wasn't a big deal to me).
This latest version for my curved note 7 I have to say is sub-par. The screen protector sits off the phones screen on most areas causing the user to have to press harder to manipulate the phone. I don't know if something went wrong with the measurements during engineering, nonetheless it's an issue. The other issue is a result of the same issue (screen protector sitting off the phone screen), my screen protector is visible in every selfie picture and video call. Otterbox is so better than this, still a customer however... because the protection is the best in the business. - Jared Graves

Needs improvement!!

All the cases I have ever purchased have been otterbox, because they are awesome. Until this one, like previous reviewers have mentioned the screen protector is horrible, gaps that let dirt in underneath and having to pund on the screen because the protector is not flush is super annoying. So disappointed especially when you had to wait so long to get one. I really hope you guys get these fixed because I really don't want to find another brand of case to go too.

Good but not great

Like others have said the screen protector pulls away at the top of the screen allowing dust and dirt to get in. And I dont like how i have to push all they way down to text cause the screen protector doesn't fit right against the phone like it should. I have always purchased the defenders for my iPhones and i figured I would give it a shot for my Samsung but i was wrong. With me working in a lumber yard I need a good case.

Really needs work

For years I've used the otterbox defender for all my cell phones because I need the protection and they've aways been great, but this one is the worst out of the bunch. Shell and rubber cover are fine but the screen protector is way off, it's not tight on the screen like it should be so you have to pound on the screen to type and things can get in through the hole for the ear and front facing camera space. First day with it and might take it back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Screen protector needs work

Screen protector is not flush on screen. Gap allows dust and dirt to get into the case. Not the quality that I am used to with otterbox.

Disappointed

As others have indicated, there is a large gap between the screen and the screencover. This allows dust to get under the screencover. I have to constantly clean it. On top of That, the screen is also less responsive due to the way the screen protector fits. It seems like the defender is not holding up to its standards. Was this case even tested before deployment?
