Little disappointed

This was my 4th defender case so I had high hopes. Unfortunately on the note 7 model the volume down button is a hit or miss as to if you are going to be able to actually adjust the volume down or not. The other issue is the holster. Sometimes the phone snaps in properly, sometimes you almost seem like your going to bend the phone before it snaps in.

Pretty sad...worst defender case ever...

I've bought the commuter case before this and might go back to it with a regular screen protector...its basically the same thing with a rubber case that is very weak...the screen protector is horrible and can't even type well at all...you sure these are not bootlegs to rush them out...dang all the money drop on this company all these years and I get this. Was pump I got my fix note 7 after the recall and this defender case just to be let down again. :[

Screen protector needs work

The same problem as everyone. The screen protector does not touch on top and bottom, right where the holes for the speaker and home button are, letting debris in. In the center is fine, around an inch away from both buttons is the problem. This is my 3rd defender, 1st with the edge screen and that seems to be the problem.

A bit of a bummer. I think I had an otter for my Note1. It got me hooked. My Note3 otter definitely paid for itself 10 fold (see photo).
If I pull the phone out of the case, it looks like the day I bought it. The box takes a beating, but the phone stays safe.
Unfortunately, like the past reviews you just read... The protective screen is a bummer. I to would love to hear back from the great people of Otterbox on a resolution for gap between protection and touch surface. This is particularly bad at the curved edge.
Please Otterbox, let me know if you address this.

Why did the case change from s7 edge to note 7

The s7 edge screen protector was hard and nice and around the camera it was rubbery to keep dust out not sure why they changed it

Screen protector is useless

I bought the defender case to protect my new note 7 because I've always bought defender for all my previous phones and all my tablets. I was a little disappointed in the design I feel like the screen protector is making it slower when I txt and when I use the back button and recent apps also Samsung pay whenever I have it open and complete purchase I have to press down really hard on the back button to exit. The first day I used my defender there is already dirt and debris on my screen I still have the screen protector that the note 7 came with on underneath the case protector and it right under the samsung logo it's pretty annoying. I'm debating on sending it back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could have been better

I finally got my case today after waiting week's for the release. Was hoping I would have better results then what l have been reading.
I was not so fortunate. What you have been reading is all become to real .
The screen protector is one of the worst designs I have seen.it is flimsy and fits like a baggy sweat sheart. The gap under the screen protector is so big that when out side the glare makes it impossible to see the screen. Mine actually has a wave to it.
I have had defender cases for 8 different phone's. This one is a poor atttpmt to keep up with the latest phone's.
I cant recamend this product for anyone.

Got my Warranty replacement today! Now that's what I'm talking about! Everything is spot on! All buttons hit perfect, cut outs are EXACT, and the screen protector sits flat on my screen! Thanks Otterbox for the swift, hassle free warranty exchange!
