Otterbox screen does not fit snugly enough across the surface of the phone's screen. You have to press too hard to text.

It is a very nice case and much better than my previous Note 4 case. I do have two minor issues which are at times it's hard to clip back into the belt clip and secondly there are gaps at the edge by the beveled/rounded screen where it makes a noise and I have to push harder to make the phone work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just received my case today after having to purchase a Commuter until the Defender was available almost two months after the Note 7's release. Now the phone needs to be turned in on and the case is useless.
Been using the case for a few hours, the case doesn't seem to be up to standards with the rest of the Otterboxes we've purchased in the past. Plastic case doesn't seem to full snap closed, rubber outer part doesn't fit properly. Also causes issue with having to touch the screen over and over for it to register.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This case is the real deal, your getting your money's worth. It's definetly a horrifying pity that I had to turn in my recall galaxy note 7, that it's actually going to be discontinue. The worst is that I waited for weeks for the defender series for the note 7 to come out....and that I only got to use it less than two weeks.
The case itself surrounding the clear window is perfect. It is the clear curved portion of the case that is not great. It did start to split, in my opinion the way the curve of the Note 7 is desinged (to be fair, I think OtterBox did the best they could with the design). Very difficult to text with the letters to the extreme left and right. The clear window doesn't fit the flat part of the screen perfectly so it took a lot of pressure and repeated attempts to input letters.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I refused to take my phone out the house until i had the best protection on my phone. Now you have to pay full price for your phone. All my phones look new and work fine while protected by an OtterBox.
