Worst Dishwasher

This is hands down the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. Glasses and plates have a cloudy residue not matter how hot the water is or which detergent we use. And it holds much less than an earlier version we owned. I wish I could take it back!

You cannot hear it running!!!

We went from a "can't talk/supposedly quiet" dishwasher to an awesome machine! You literally have to look at the front for the machine's status We have an open Great Room/Dining/Kitchen floor plan and the previous 2 DWs have been too noisy to wash holiday/party dishes with a house full of people and still be able to carry on conversations without almost yelling!?
There has been a bit of a learning curve to figure out the new baskets, but it's "No worries". It is a lot of money, we are very happy so far...we think it will be worth the investment.

Nice features. Terrible ease of installation

This unit looks nice and works well. However, ease of installation is terrible. Getting to the rear legs for adjustments is not an easy task. The drip pan has to be removed. Then a 15/16 wrench has to be slid on the floor to to adjust the rear legs. Once that is done the task of getting the drip/leak pan back in is terrible. I finally got it after three hours of trying. I finally had to remove the front mounts to get the pan in. The rear slots for lack of better words are terrible to align. There is only about 1/2-3/4 inch clearance under the motor and pump system. I just remove an Asko unit that had cable control for the rear adjustment. Slide the unit in, adjust the front manually and turn a cable adjustment in the front and the unit is in place. Everything from the front. The mounting system is from the 50's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stainless steel quiet beauty

Love the look of this new GE dishwasher. It has top mounted controls and display on the door with a door handle where I can hang some towels. It is super quiet compared to my old GE dishwasher. The only negative so far is with GE quality control. When we received the dishwasher, we saw the package of instructions soaking wet that was wrapped in plastic inside the tub. There was still some water inside the tub. Looks like they did a water test with the instructions inside the tub.

Very quite, but doesn't clean 100% unless dishes are rinsed before putting in washer.

Replacement for another GE dishwasher that was 7 years old, the new one does not clean as well and a dishes are always wet, even after drying cycle. Machine is very quiet
