Quiet and cleans

Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because so far two times the dishwasher thought the door was open, and I had to restart the cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worse Dishwasher I have Ever Owned

Although the dishwasher is exceptionally quiet after a problem with the lower basket was resolved, the walls, ceiling, silverware holder, & detergent dispenser are filthy after several washing loads. When the dishwasher was first installed, it made a thumping noise. I called the washer "Thumper" and immediately reported to the merchant. The thumping was so constant that I only ran it at night. It took over a year to determine the problem, since none of the techs attempted to thoroughly examine the cause of the thumping. Finally, a year and a half later, a tech removed the bottom rack and set it on the counter only to discover the basket had a bow in the bottom. They replaced the basket -- mystery resolved!
Now, the ongoing problem of the scrum inside the washer is disgusting, as shown in the pictures. I took these pictures after using a "finish" dishwasher cleaner product, intended to clean the interior of the machine. I've cleaned the interior countless times by hand.

Worst dishwasher ever

Terrible, terrible terrible. The most expensive dishwasher I have ever bought yet it consistently fails to clean. Extremely quiet. So much so that you can't even tell that it's running. However, always leaves a foul odor and never works. I'm constantly cleaning the interior in an attempt to improve its function yet it just doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If it wasn't for the digital screen in front displaying the cycle its on, we wouldn't know its actually powered on. Its so quiet! I love it!

The chrome trim is glued on and came off after two years. The thing literally started falling apart. The dishwasher stinks and the dishes always come out wet. After owning this appliance, and seeing first hand how their stuff holds up, I will really have to think twice about getting on an airplane with GE engines.
