Terrible Dishwasher

Not at all happy with this dishwasher. I've had it for 5 months and I've tried everything but the soap packs often don't get fully dissolved. The glassware is cloudy and I feel that the dishes aren't clean. Also, can't even fit some stemware in the upper rack despite the lower position, and if the rack is lowered only short stemware fits. Don't really care for the upper silverware rack and the whole thing seems rather cheap. Love that it matches my cabinets but wish I had made a better choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely quiet and efficient!

We were looking for a very quiet, but powerful dishwasher that didn't have a protruding handle. This one definitely fills the bill. Very happy with it!

Good Machine but not as good as we expected

We bought this machine and although it performs as it should it is not as sufficent with the cleaninf process as a whole. It does seem to remove most of the dirt but even when we use the heated dry setting, it leave the dishes wet on the top two drawers of the unit. Also, the rubber gasket around the door catches on the upper drawer and pulls off of the door. This is not a difficult fix but very annoying when trying to load and unload the dishwasher.

Extremely Disappointed

We bought this dishwasher just over a year ago. For the first few months it worked great. After nine months of owning it we started having problems. Now each load I do I get more and more frustrated that we bought this. We've had multiple service calls on the dishwasher. The entire motor has been replaced and it still doesn't work as a dishwasher should. Silverware and glasses always come out with marks and thing stuck to them (yes we use a rinse aid) We've been told that in order for the DW to work properly we have to actually wash the dishes by hand first!!!! WHAT???? it was suggested to is that we put half a dishwasher tab into the machine, clean the filter after each use... Not sure who had time for all that. If I wanted to do all of that I would have skipped the purchase and done dishes by hand. In order to get the dishwasher working even semi well we have to have it on the sanitize temperature setting which runs for almost 3.5 hours. Really wish we never bought this machine. I understand that things wear down overtime but there is no reason we should be having problems like this after one year. extremely disappointed busy mom...

Started out "ok," but now it just stinks.

We had a GE Profile for 9 years prior to this one and we LOVED it. (We also have a GE Profile induction range, microwave and refrigerator.) We used it A LOT (multiple times a day due to babies and/or entertaining.) I can't recall what happened, but we needed to replace our once trusty dishwasher. We decided to go with the same line based on our past experience.
We've been disappointed since day one with this dishwasher. Nothing ever seemed dry. Then one day I started smelling an electrical burning smell. The dishwasher circuit tripped (it's own circuit). I called for service. I learned that 1. there are now heating elements in the unit. Bummer because my prior unit had them and it made all the difference. 2. I need to run my sink water until it's hot otherwise I won't have hot water in my dishwasher because it uses so little water that it will never pull enough hot water from my water tank. (Good to know. Again, never an issue with my prior unit.) 3. The service tech couldn't find anything wrong with my unit. Go figure.

So here I am again. Same deal. I smelled an electrical burning coming from my dishwasher. Unit is "functioning," just not cleaning anything, let alone is anything drying.
When it comes time for our kitchen remodel, we'll be looking for a different brand...hopefully we can find one with a heating element.

So quiet!

I love almost everything about this dishwasher. It's quiet and cleans well. I wish it dried the dishes a little better. Even running hot water through my tap before I turned it on doesn't seem to get them dry all the way.
I would recommend this to a friend!
