Good Dishwasher with some issues....

Purchased this dishwasher in August of 2014, after 3-4 months of using it the control panel display went bad. It took 6 service calls to have the dishwasher replaced. I would recommend only GE factory service for this machine.
I own all profile GE appliances in my kitchen and laundry. I've had many years of experience with their appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT FEATURES & APPEARANCE!

I bought this because of the recommended review in "CONSUMER REPORTS". It was installed yesterday. I found it very easy to use, I like the LED displays and the handles match my GE french door refrigerator perfectly. I love the third upper rack because I have a lot of flat little things to put on it. I've only used it once but it worked perfectly. Now I can't wait till my stove fails so I can buy a matching GE stove/ oven. They look so beautiful in my kitchen! I love my GE refrigerator that I purchased about a month ago because of all the GREAT features. My GE refrigerator is FABULOUS! There is no comparison to my old one (not GE). They have come along way with the newest and advanced technology. I also like that its American made. I also have a stainless steel GE microwave above my stove that I bought along time ago and it still works perfectly! I am a very HAPPY customer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does not dry the dishes. The tube is always wet/damp. I am having the hardest time of returning it.

Items washed on the upper rack just don't dry - always a lot of water upon washing, even on Power Dry cycle. Otherwise ok.

Smelly, smelly washer and dishes never dry!

I have bought many GE products, but this dishwasher is not good. Firstly, when you open the door after the cleaning/drying cycle is finished .. it smells!!!! I have had it checked out and it not by sink or anything like that. It's the dishwasher! But the biggest problem is that no matter how long the cycle, the dishes DO NOT DRY!! The whole unit is wet and the dishes are wet. Terrible machine.

Great Washer

We've had this washer for a year and it has been great. It actually throws us off if we turned it on because it is so quiet. That is the part that we love. Extremely quiet. We only hear it when it dumps water into the disposal. It cleans very well and we love the bottle washer feature as well as the silverware drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does a TERRIBLE job of cleaning and leaves everything WET. Have had repairs out twice. Nothing works. I am saving to replace it after having it only two years.

This washer does not clean! We've had it two years and even new, it didn't properly clean the silverware when using the third rack. It's such a poor product and reflects very poorly on the overall quality of GE.
