Excellent job!

We bought this about a month ago for our new house after having a GE Profile installed 2 years ago in our old house so we knew we were going to like it. Like it? We love it! We have an open floor plan and this model is so quiet, guests don't even know its on. It does an excellent job of washing and I don't have to do the "pre-wash dance" that so many dishwashers require. Sleek design and easy to keep the front and handle clean and shiny. The controls are hidden but no problem to use. The racks handle big pots and those tall coffee travel mugs with ease. Highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this dishwasher except...

This dishwasher cleans extremely well and is so quiet one can barely detect it is running. However, the drying cycle does not work well. Our solution is to let dishes sit overnight.

Great dishwasher. Questionable durability

I searched high and low for a dishwasher and when this model came out was impressed by the thought of going into it. However three months into buying this dishwasher the motor completely conked out. We have since then got it replaced and the dishwasher is running again

Soaking wet dishes: power dry adds another hour. No common sense in loading options. Way over priced.

Have been using this for about 3 mos now and love the looks, extra space, as well as the low noise output. Drying sometimes does not work as the dishes are still slightly wet from time to time.

Wish I'd Bought the Other Brand

My newly-built house has five major GE appliances and a GE microwave. They all get A to A++ except this dishwasher (D, at best). It is amazingly quiet, and I do like the 3rd rack; I also appreciate the adjustable rack. In fact, I'd picked out another brand's 3-rack dishwasher when I discovered GE made its counterpart. I do have to skip every other section in the 3rd rack so that silverware doesn't nest and turn knives blade up to ensure they get clean. For the most part, it SEEMS to clean well enough. However, when I switched from granular Cascade to the recommended Platinum Plus, the dishes looked clean, but the the dishwasher itself still smelled like food. Even after running hot water in the faucet first + Power Dry + Temp Boost and even Sanitize to increase the temp of the final rinse, dishes are dripping wet; the dishwasher sweats and drips. I put the rinse aid device wide open, which helped a little, but I had to refill every other day, even though I never wash more than one load a day. Some cups/glasses do not fit well on the 2nd rack, and I don't seem to be able to get as many dishes as expected on the bottom rack, even though I removed the silverware basket (which broke when it fell off the counter) in favor of the 3rd rack. I know there are ways to adjust, but the instructions are so poor, that I'm afraid of trying too much lest I break something (like the silverware basket). The plumber who installed our water heater checked to ensure the water is heating to at least 120 degrees. Not sure what's happening once it gets to the dishwasher, but it's a little scary because I have an immune compromised family member.
