I find that the dish racks are widely spaced and so it does not hold as much as it should. However, it has some neat features (like washing only the top or bottom racks) etc.

Super quiet!

We bought this dishwasher 6 months ago when we redid our kitchen. We wanted a panel ready unit to coordinate with our new kitchen cabinets. We are very pleased with its overall performance a especially its quietness since the kitchen is adjacent to our family room. No need to increase the TV volume or wait until bedtime to run the dishwasher.

Really quiet!

I barely hear it running...the only trouble with that is my husband will open the door while it's running because he can't hear it! Gets dishes very clean. The regular drying cycle does not dry the dishes very well so I use the extra Power Dry cycle. That probably uses more energy, but it gets the job done. Unfortunately, I had removed the top (3rd) shelf because my dinner plates won't fit on the bottom shelf with it in.

We bought this several months ago. Loved it then. Love it still. Built-in disposal, fantastic 3rd rack, adjustable upper rack, bottle washers, wine glass holders, sectional silverware container, option to wash only upper or lower rack, power drying, pre-soak, delay start hourly up to 12 hours, top controls with front display -- these are all great features that we use and use and use. Our dishes come out sparkling clean. Our only difficulty has been that sometimes the soap dispenser doesn't completely empty leaving a lump of dishwasher soap still there after end of cycle. We solve this by making sure the dispenser is completely empty and dry before putting more soap in.

Great Dishwasher!!

Not noise at all! I can hardly hear the machine when it is running. Cleans well even on express cycle. Clean design, love the digital cycle display. Interior looks very sharp. Have room for larger plates and plenty of room for utensils.

LOVE THIS DISHWASHER!

We bought this to go in our new home and settled on GE because I started the process by selecting a stove and then wanted the other appliances to match as much as possible. This dishwasher also has a food disposer built in which other brands do not, so I don't have screens to clean regularly at the bottom of the dishwasher.
The best things about this dishwasher are: QUIET! QUIET QUIET! Our home is the new "open" style, so there is no way to escape kitchen noise in the living space, but you cannot tell when this puppy is running! It is THAT QUIET!
This dishwasher has a third rack (on top) specifically for flatware. OMG, this is the best design improvement ever! Unloading the silverware is so easy now - and it is drier than it is if you use the silverware basket on the bottom rack (still included).
This dishwasher has "bottle wash" nozzles. I don't have a baby or little kid, but if I did I would use it every day with this feature on. I have used it for cruets that had oily residue in them and was quite impressed!
Now to the "bad" - the top rack, for glasses, is most difficult to load properly. Glasses tend to want to fall over if you pull the rack out with only a few glasses in the rack. I'm in my sixties and have used many different dishwashers through the years and this one loads the worst on the top rack.
As to cleaning, we use the FINISH tabs, not the Quantum version, the regular 4 in ones. If I add rinse agent to the dispenser, the dishes smell like rotten eggs. As soon as I let the rinse agent run out and stopped using it, the dishes smell fresh as a daisy. I always run the unit with the SANITIZE feature enabled to ensure the hottest possible rinse. To get that Energy Star label, the new dishwashers don't have heated dry cycles like the old ones did so you will find that the tops of glasses and mugs might be a little wet if you unload shortly after the cycle finishes. If we run it at night and unload in the morning, this isn't so noticeable.
All in all - very pleased with this dishwasher and highly recommend it!
