We have had the dishwasher for 6 months and it is so quiet we
have to strain to hear if it is running. Only issue we weren't prepared for is having to use the power dry to get the items dry.

Great Dishwasher with Great Looks

Installed in new house. The dishwasher looks great with the cabinet front and is very quiet. Even the express wash (45 min) cycles cleans very well! Would purchase again.

Needs further tweaking has pros and cons

It's extremely quite I no longer have a 747 jet in my kitchen. I love the spray jets for cleaning glasses. I tried the recommendation of starting with hot water, and leaving the door closed after it says clean and items are still wet. I check the rinse aid and it's fine. My other problem is the glass rack is so uneven I have broken several good glasses when opening and closing the rack, to just load the machine. It's because of all the bumps things don't sit evenly. I find that the shelf seems awkward putting glassware on the shelf, it doesn't sit correctly on any of the spaces because of the bumps, unless I use the jet spray glass holder.

This is the third new GE dishwasher we've had in ten years and each one is worse. This last one is horrible. I basically have to wash the dishes before I load them or they don't come out clean and the cycle takes forever. I've tried different soaps and rinses to no avail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
