I bought this fridge 4 months ago when we renovated our kitchen. I love almost everything about it. I love the water inside the fridge instead of outside (I don't like the look of the exterior water/ice, it always accumulates scale and looks dirty). We are happy with the size and I love having so many options for configuration.
One super annoying thing about this fridge is that the cover on the slide out tray (the wide deli/entertaining section along the bottom of the fridge section) is constantly coming off when you open the drawer. It's like the prongs holding the cover on are not long enough. If this wasn't an issue, this fridge would be a 4-star for me. It would be 5 stars if it was a tad quieter (it's not loud by any means, just louder I think than our old fridge).

I have only had this product for a little over a month. So far I am extremely satisfied with its performance. At first I thought it was a bit small inside, but found out the depth gave me enough space. Just getting used to having water and ice inside rather than on the door, but it's proven to not be a hassle. The bonus is my husband no longer drops cubes from the door onto the floor and doesn't overfill glass with water. Time will tell if the icemaker feature will have fewer problems than the on the door kind.

We had to have the freezer rubber seal replaced immediately. They used a piece of Styrofoam when shipping and it made an impression in the seal which never sealed properly. The refigerator doors are a really poor design, the right side always pops open slightly when you close the left side and the door sensor doesnt alarm, probably because its just a slight opening, but nonetheless it allows cold air to escape. It cools/freezes fine just some poorly designed mechanics!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
