Good fridge but...

Love this Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second 36" standard depth French Door Kitchenaid refrigerator. The first one we bought was 16 years ago and the only reason we changed over is that we renovated our kitchen. We had such a great experience with our old fridge we thought we would by a new one to go with our updated kitchen. The refrigerator looks GREAT, has a "ton" of room with just enough compartments without compromising on the space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A few key things are not on target

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm surprised by the basket format of the freezer. When scooping out ice cubes it's very common for them to fall through to the floor. I'm also annoyed by the dripping water dispenser and the fact that you can't pull out the right drawer without both doors being open. No major problems but some annoying designs flaws. Do they not test prototypes?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrific design

Jury still out....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus far OK, wasn't my intended purchase due to cost. Still trying to get the hand-prints and dirty fingermarks off the door and handles finish from the delivery team. Doors do not align correctly, which I noted to the tech at delivery. Humidity in the gasket seal, no wax provided for enhanced sealing and anticipate mold will be result. Have had the fridge for about a month now, replaced my 12 year old Kenmore when the compressor died :(
