[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator in March 2020. One of the best functioning refrigerators we have ever had. I am somewhat reluctant to review a new product as it is very important to us to have a repair free appliance for more than just a few years but so far so good! Love the handles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought it just under two years ago. It works fine. Makes ice great. Freezes things in the bottom back of the bottom drawer once in a while. The biggest disappointment is that the seal around the inside of the doors in tearing quite badly already. I have never had to replace this part on any of my other refrigerators.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just updated my kitchen and purchased a whole line of KitchenAid appliances. I love these appliances. When doing research on appliances in order to make an informed choice I was a bit confused by all the mixed reviews. I wish someone would have simply listed pros and cons of features so that's what I'm going to do. Pros: Extremely roomy, one shelf that slides out, a half shelf that can be tucked underneath itself for taller items, huge roomy bins at the bottom, doors hold a lot of things, love the french doors, can open either door or both which takes up less room in the kitchen when open, mine has an icemaker (since this model was discontinued) which is also nice, but I would have preferred the icemaker in the freezer compartment like this one since I have two big freezers downstairs and could have used the extra space in the fridge compartment, fairly quiet and really good lighting. Cons: after closing an open door it makes a quiet little noise like a motor starting kinda sounds like a cat purr (just weird), when door is full of things it can swing open pretty hard if you don't keep a hold of the door. Overall I absolutely love the room and overall look of the fridge.

Love this brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy that I have another kitchen Aid refrigerator. However, this model is different from a second one I have in another house: this one requires two hands to get filtered water (one to hold the glass and the other to press the bottom). Also, the ice bucket did not come with a scoop which is another down feature. Other than that, I am happy and hope it does last longer than other brands.

Roomy, convenient, bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased! French doors and bright interior lighting allow view of everything. Especially like the shelf where front half slides back underneath to accommodate the occasional tall item. Wide shallow bottom drawer is perfect for meats and cheeses or a platter. Made the change from in-the-door ice/water to interior ice/water and like the uncluttered exterior look. Scooping ice is actually faster than waiting for it to grind out. Interior water dispenser also fills a glass faster. Keeping the exterior door dispenser clean was also annoying. Drawer freezer displays contents; nothing hidden in the back and forgotten. Unit fits in the same space as the old side-by-side but seems to have more interior room. Achieved cooling/freezing temperatures quickly. Like the digital temperature display and filter replacement light.

Sleek look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this refrigerator installed about 5 months ago.
What we like: the black stainless steel is a beautiful, sleek look that is easy to clean and normally does not show fingerprints. The fridge compartment is large and has great storage areas. The shelves are adjustable. The handles are industrial-looking and we like them (although we did not realize they came with red on each end of every handle - strange).
What we don't like: Although we like the convenience of ice and water dispensers being in the outer door, we know that mixing the temp of those lines is the greatest cause of service calls and has caused us problems in the past, so we opted to try this model instead. (Plus, refrigerators were tough to come by in a pandemic, so we took what we could get.) I like having the filtered, cold water in the fridge, but do not like that it is IN the fridge. I feel like we're losing a lot of energy keeping the door open to dispense the water. The water has a nice flow (much better than the slow stream from my in-law's water dispenser), but the part I hate the most is having to use two hands. You need one hand to push the button to dispense the water and the other hand to hold the glass. It is nigh to impossible to do it with one hand.
While the refrigerator seems to have more storage than our previous side-by-side fridge, we found the freezer has much less space, especially because the ice and ice maker are there. In addition, the freezer drawer is a bit "wanky" and doesn't roll in and out smoothly/straight. Sometimes it goes in at a bit of an angle, and I have to make sure it's shut tightly. Also, the handle has become loose in the few months we've been using it.
Only one month into use, my husband balanced a glass salad bowl precariously on something else. It fell and cracked the plastic of the bottom cheese/meat drawer. Huge bummer, but our fault.
Overall I am really happy with this purchase. Despite what look like many negatives, they are outweighed by the sleek look and hopefully zero issues with the water/ice lines. It is a nice fridge that looks great, works well, and is easy to keep clean. I would recommend it if you're looking for an interior water dispenser!

Great when working

Bought this refrigerator and from day 1 freezer door would not open correctly from left side of the handle. Two visits from service later was told it’s a design defect so live with. Then two months later started leaking on the floor. Retailer replaced it with another now this one has a fan rattle when turning on. Another two hours on the phone and registering and setting up a service call.
