Plenty of space and features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality product. Plenty of space. The features like the deli drawer and half shelf are very useful in maximizing the refrigerator space. Bottom freezer drawer doesn’t pull out or close as easily as it should. Overall GREAT!

Questionable quality

Replaced 10 year old Kitchenaid with this model. Name plate fell off on first day. Then the doors were horribly out of alignment. Followed directions and raised the foot on the door that need to be raised. A week later, one of the screw heads on the door hinge snapped off. Returned and got the HRFF507 model, which has a screw to adjust the door alignment. The reviews are questionable on the quality as well, but all I can do now is hope.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good capacity, water and ice-making features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had long resisted a refrigerator with french doors over concerns with the door seals and overall capacity. This has not been the case with this model. The shelves are deep and wide enough to accommodate dutch ovens and roasting pans, the bottom cheese/meat drawer accommodate a lot while maintaining a good temperature. The fruit and vegetables bins also do a job of keeping produce fresh. The optional wine rack is a nice feature, as is the interior water dispenser which we use far more often than we thought we would as we have very good quality well-water direct from our taps. The lower freezer has good storage and the drawers are well designed for storage. The ice-maker is fast. It’s also a quiet fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Issues with Freezer

I bought this refrigerator for several reasons - counter depth, black stainless, larger capacity than most counter depth, and needed a good size ice bin because we use a lot of ice. The refrigerator is fine and provides good space. The freezer is horrible. The ice bin has never pulled out properly when you open the freezer. KitchenAid used a magnet within the freezer door that is not strong enough. We bought heavy duty magnets and that helped a little. The freezer door is hard to close. If you don't use force to close it, you will find your freezer items thawed as we have had happen repeatedly. The runners on the freezer drawers ice up making it difficult to pull them out. Especially where the ice bin sits. It has frozen so many times, I am tired of chipping off the frost. Someone suggested I get refrigerated graphite to put on the runners and I tried that. The door is so hard to open now that I am looking to buy another refrigerator and get rid of this one. KitchenAid really missed the mark on this particular model.
