I am over joyed that I bought this product. I took it on vacation and it kept me moving so that I was able to reach my steps goal everyday. The fitbit was also a conversation piece among fellow vacationers

Good monitoring support

I really like the on screen notices and alarms. Best of all, I love how it can sync to your phone for notices of texts and calls. I could not believe how great that feature is. I don't have to check my phone if I am busy, Alta names the caller and first few words of the messages. I can decide if I need to address directly or not. Very cool!

It is not as durable as I expected. Barley bumped it on the sink and it scratched. It's not waterproof. An kinda bulky compared to other fitbit's.

I love the Fitbit Alt, but band is a nightmare. I lost mine yesterday when I stumbled on a steep stairway on a ferry boat and grabbed the handrail. Apparently it pulled loose and I didn't realize it was gone until an hour after we dis-embarked. I will re-purchase but with a different band.

Not what I had hoped for.

I do not like the band at all. I cannot get it on. I have to have my fiance put it on every day and if he is traveling, I have to use pliars. Not happy with the way the face reads either. My little hip one is easier to read. I will probably upgrade to the next size up.
