NO encryption on a MAC -

Was hoping for a possible update so the encryption would activate but this is what happens when one tries to activate -
"T3 Log In Activator for Mac quit unexpectedly."
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no encryption on a mac.

290 mb per second was the speed I saw while transferring files

If you're looking for a small, secure, large capacity portable ssd storage device to accompany your USB-C 3.1 enabled laptop or tablet, the T3 is an excellent choice.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, fast

I was very surprised at how light and small this SSD T3 is. I purchased the 500GB variant and using this mostly for my local mobile device and laptop backup since I don't really trust sending things to the cloud. So far file transfers have been amazingly fast. If you're contemplating on getting this, my advice is don't overthink and just get it!

Great for portable back up

I've been using portable hard drives so far and after using this little wonder I'm totally spoilt. Superb speeds, excellent form factor and build quality. Wish they gave a type c to type c cable at this price point though.
The T3 login app has been repeatedly crashing on my mac, I think it is a software issue to be patched by samsung. Transferred a couple of files over 1gb each and got copied in a jiffy.
Totally satisfied with this drive.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, extremely fast transfer speeds, encryption
Cons: expensive

Super Fast. I love it !!! I know its kind of expensive but on the other hand its future proof, shock proof and mor storage than you probably need

This is exactly what I was looking for. A small compact external SSD drive as an addition to my Samsung notebook series 9. I like the fact that it is small and very lightweight. It's powerful enough to use in the application I needed it for. Great product. Would recommend it.
