It works very well with ventilation and have used it a couple of times already. It came with our house build and it looks sharp

It does have very good suction and pulls the air up and out. The lights are also very bright for cooking and it isn't noisy.

Defective right out of the box

Blower section was defective, replacement blower was also defective worse than the first. Third time it seems o.k. but time will tell. I chose G.E. because of what I perceived to be quality. Boy was I wrong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really needed a powerful hood to exhaust the fumes from some of the exotic foods we cook. This hoon does the job and looks good.
