Powerful and great looking

I bought this hood to replace an existing hood that was 13 years old. This new model is very well built, looks great and is very powerful and removing smoke and odors. I love the night light setting as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Profile vent hood

I bought this in August 2013 and like it a lot. Does a great job of getting rid of smoke and kitchen odors. I have a professional stove and needed a reasonably priced vent hood that would handle the heat.

Missing a part, part is backordered for months!

Our hood came with a missing part (the filter support, necessary to install the filter). Rather than delay the entire installation, the installer went ahead and installed the hood, since the part can easily be installed with the hood in place.
But this part is now backordered with an expected ship date of 2 months from now! Meanwhile, the manual says that it may be unsafe to use the stove without filters in the hood, which now can't be in place because of this missing part.
A 2 month delay on a part that was GE's error is acceptable!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We like the designer hood look and it's so quiet, I keep checking the on/off switch to make sure it is actually running!

If you are looking for, high cfm 1200.. this is the one...It pulls the heat that created, from the Gas stove..right out, And the, smoke from cooking is gone...And the Halogen lights, give you enough of light for seeing. And surface is easy to clean..with the profile look.
