Good settings, easy to reach, looks great

We really like this hood. Nice settings of controls. We are short, so it is nice that it is easy for us to reach. At high it can really move some air. Nice lights too. My only complaint, no LED lights. It has halogens and doesn't seem to have an LED match out there to replace. We had no choice on manufacturers as this was new construction house and they have a deal with GE. We could pick from 4-5 hoods and after researching, picked this one and am not sorry so far.

Highly efficienty, vented hood profile series.

Had a same direct vented hood and the last one lasted about 14 years with motor breakdown, Hence,replaced with the same high efficiency vent hood, also as the venting system supposedly fits the same way. Only issue was there was some change in design of the damper that connects to the duct, causing some leaks. The applicance guys had trouble with that. Otherwise, hope the quality, durability remains the same.

Sleek design

I love the style of our vent. The light is pretty amazing as it is nice and bright. I was frying something on the cooktop and turned on the fan and within seconds a majority of the smell was gone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Motor broke 20 minutes into first use

The motor started making this loud scratching noise twenty minutes into the first use. Speed was set to medium. Service call made to GE. Was able to schedule 2 weeks out. Technician ordered parts under warranty and scheduled follow up two weeks out to install.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality hood at sanee price..

This is a quality product that looks great. No complaints at this time. I have had it for about 3 months. It looks great above my Profile range. Works as it should. I fry my bacon in cast iron outside, all other cast iron work on range, and the hood handles it. Actually, maybe this weekend I will try bacon on the range and give the hood a workout.
