Sucks Everything Up!

This is my first hood (previously used over the range microwaves) and it's just awesome. It no only looks amazing, it works like a champ. The night light setting is also a great addition. I won't be going back to over the range microwaves ever again.

We bought this range hood because we wanted to be able to cook without leaving a trail of our cooking. This hood only vents out when in full or high speed. I found out that medium or low does not help get rid of the smell. Very difficult to install. No instructions as to where the screws go. We got a bunch of screws in a plastic bag and were not labeled. Very difficult to attach the motor. It took us a long time after we figured out that the 4 screws were too long so we had to filed them down. What a bummer. They need to label the screws or include 4 that fit.

Nice Range Hood

It took all day to install, we had duct work to install. Overall the instructions could have been a little better, no information on what screws to use when putting it together. Overall a nice range hood, we purchased all GE CAFE appliances and purchased the GE Profile Hood and it looks good with them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

30 Inch vent hood.

Very nice hood. Not hard to install but takes some planning and some time. Draws fumes very well and has good air flow. The only improvement that could be made is with the decorative vent pipe cover. It comes in 2 pieces and needs to have more adjustable mounting options or come in pieces to fit 9 foot ceilings better for the amount that the cover cost. Other than that I'm very pleased.

Really Sucks!!

Awesome features and professional looking. Filters are quite easy to clean. Definitely makes a statement in our kitchen!
My only beef is that it only really works when on its highest settings, otherwise it kinda lacks. On High, the blower is pretty loud, but works really well. The smell of cooking Bacon or fried foods goes up and outside just as it should without making the rest of my house smell like food for days.
Matching duct cover is nice, though I wish it were only one piece.
First unit arrived badly damaged. Customer service got it replaced immediately and the new one works just as advertized.
