Unique and 1st gen beauty

I have to say I love this phone for its unique factor. For a 1st gen Blackberry Android, it's pretty good and I know the future versions will be even better.
Some of the features I love:
-best feature is it's running a clean clear bare-bones version of Android
-with the sliding keyboard, I don't have to touch the screen as often, just slide the keyboard. I often clean the oily screen and scratch it up
-screen is beautifully done and in 4k style.
-the battery life can easily last 1 to 3 days
-microSD slot holds up to 2TB of data so I don't have to pay much for extra storage. I can carry more music in my inventory
-I'm all about utility apps and the curved edge gives me those widget alerts I'm looking for
-Hub experience gives me easy access to all messages, emails and texts all in one location. I don't have to open and close each individual app to see my messages, a major hassle for multi-tasking
-keyboard is hard to get used to at first, but over time, I've gotten used to it since I use it on a daily basis
-I'm a huge fan of rubberized cases and this one also sports carbon-fiber, it makes it feel like a premium phone and it won't easily fall out of your hand

Overall, the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages by far. This feels like a premium device with its Blackberrish features and experience. Blackberry is set to be the best secure Android on the market and it's welcome news for Android security. I've had Blackberry phones in the past but it lacked some apps. Now on Android, I can have my Blackberry experience with all the apps I need. The unique look and feel made me a believer in Blackberry again.

When I write reviews I make sure I had plenty of time with the device.
After the past months I am glad to say that I love this phone and was surprised how durable and solid it is even as a slider.

The battery lasts me all day AND next morning. The keyboard is a joy to type on, both of them, the screen is fantastic to look at and the call quality seems to be 2nd to none.
Great job BlackBerry

Best Blackberry Ever!

I received my Priv yesterday. This is an amazing, high quality phone with all the Apps, Security and Productivity you need. I think this device marks the return of Blackberry in the phone market. Top end phone.

Great phone. Glad to see Blackberry making bold moves. Physical keyboard, Hub and battery is why I will make this phone my daily driver over my s6 edge.

Powerful for business and fun when you have a break. The keyboard and screen are very good. Took some work to leave the Q10 and get everything up and running. Blackberry's support line may be the best EVER!

Very pleased. I've had it for about a month and no foibles yet. Battery lasts super long. And charges back up super fast. Intuitive moving between screens, apps, notifications, mail, etc, etc.

I was torn between the blackberry, note 5, and the LG V10. I had the v10 for the 14 day trial period and it was a great phone as well but something kept drawing me to the blackberry. Not sure if it was nostalgia or what but I'm very happy that I have decided to go with the priv. No worries about performance or hiccups because blackberry has continued to release updates and I can certainly live with that
