I just picked this phone up the other day and it is the best I have ever owned. It gives me great nostalgia for my old BlackBerry Torch. Everyone I show the Priv to thinks it looks so sleek, and when I slide out the keyboard they are shocked!
The only thing that I could say negatively about this phone is that it can get a little warm, but I'm sure this will be fixed in a future update. Surely this isn't a deal breaker. I can't wait for a Priv 2!

Blackberry on a much awaited come up!

I must say after using blackberry phones strictly prior 2006. This is something new and refreshing. Great build quality, the grip of the phone is superb in the hand. Sound volume is nice and loud. Bright screen! The keyboard layout is great being you can switch back and forth giving you full screen real estate. It's nice there is full access to the play store that is running 5.1.1 soon to be upgraded to marshmallow in the new year. The only gripe with the phone i have is the camera and HUB notifications redundant, but that is an easy fix disabling gmail notifications ( if thats what you use ). Not that it's bad but it wasn't a deal-breaker. Coming from the LG G4. It would have been nice to have a better camera and front cam but it's no biggie. Long battery life, speakers sound good, great security. I think the price is justifiable being other flagships are the same if not more expensive. But it's all in what suits your needs. If you are curious about blackberry and android together..get down to the retailer and try it out for yourself. You'll be utterly surprised!!

I have used a z10 for years and never upgrading to any other phone until now. Yes, i miss some features of BB10 but this combination of BB and android is a nice touch. I have been using the phone since it released and everyday that goes by I like the phone more and more. I believe that its a great device and great software,can't wait to see where they take it from here!

I am a former Blackberry and Iphone user. I was never happy with an Iphone but needed Apps. No longer--I can now have my cake and eat it too. This phone is amazing.

I had a BB always and thought the grass was greener. I have Never been satisfied with my other phones 2 iPhones and an HP android. I never want to leave BB!!!!

I have been a Blackberry fan for several years for one major reason. I never had any trouble making or receiving calls or talking on my Blackberry phones. I am most pleased to say that the PRIV follows that same tradition. I have had my PRIV for about two weeks now and have experienced no problem whatsoever in making or receiving calls. It just talks really well! I thoroughly enjoy the larger, clearer display and the QWERTY tactile keyboard. Cell phones have been smarter than I am for quite some time now but I am still amazed at the number of new apps that are available due to the use of the Android platform! I have had the opportunity to use the camera and am greatly impressed with the quality of the pictures and the almost immediate shutter response. As always, everyone needs to say something about the battery life. In my case, the battery has no problem keeping everything running for a full 24 hours. I have quite a number of apps running at the same time which obviously takes more power. Charging is not an issue and I have noticed that the new charger for the PRIV does not get hot during charging cycle. As I continue to use this new PRIV and learn more about it, I am continually impressed and really tempted to give myself a great pat on the back for making such a great purchasing decision!! I really like this phone and find it easy to say that I believe RIM has hit a home run with this phone!!!

Best phone I've ever had!

i bought this phone on the pre sale and been using it for a little over a month. There were some bugs at first but OTA updates fixed most of them. Feels great in my hand, takes sharp pictures, long battery lift, super sharp screen, and good security features.

Recently switched from a different OS and am loving the Priv so far. It's bigger than I thought it would be, but easy enough to use. keyboard is great and the ability to use it as a finger pad is really cool and convenient when scrolling text. I would highly recommend someone on the current Blackberry OS, or iOS to give this one a try. I get questions all the time now from onlookers.....
