I refused to upgrade my phone and lose the full keyboard. Now I have the best of both worlds.

I am glad I moved to Priv. It allows me to now download apps from google store so I can be like everyone else. One of the best blackberry's they have invented so far,

Welcome back BB!

I bought this about a month ago after reading millions of reviews. Figured I'd give it a chance. I absolutely love it. The negative reviews about screen colors not being completely white are correct and I do wish you could change the mute button to whatever function you wanted but other than that I have no complaints. I love having a keyboard again. This android interface works better than the ones on my previous android phones. The battery life is perfect - and that is without the battery saver on. I have not had time to go through and use all of the "fun" functions of this phone, but the general usage is amazing. I was very saddened to hear that BlackBerry is throwing in the towel. I feel this device was a ginormous step in the right direction by them.

I have been a user of this phone for over 8 months now. When I saw this in the store, I had to have it. For the first few months it was pretty amazing. Before the android marshmallow update the phone would get hot to the point of not being able to touch it and battery life drained quickly. Once the phone got the marshmallow update with the doze feature it has worked in better..but battery life still not working like it should. woth doze you should be able to leave your phone off the charger overnight and only lose 2-3% battery while blackberry loses probably 15%. This battery is almost 2x bigger than the iPhone 6 Plus battery while being smaller and goes through battery usage 3x as fast (I use iPhone for work and blackberry for personal). Overall the phone is fine for what is but I'd wait until another's price drop as it is not on par with other phones in the category. If you get it just be warned that the selfie camera is horrendous and you should get a case because I dropped my phone about 2 feet once and now can't hold service well even after replacing the SIM card.

Worst battery ever

This could be the best phone I ever had if it did not run out of battery by 2:00 PM every day. My previous BlackBerry Classic would last all day long and I am not doing anything different. I am a physical keyboard guy and that is the only reason I have always had a BlackBerry. The very weak battery on the Priv might change my mind and make me switch to a different phone next time.

Blackberry User for 12 Years The PRIV Fails

I bought 4 PRIVs for my business. An update was pushed to the phone and now none of the phones will stay on network and requires reboot to reconnect. Volume buttons push to easily causing the phone to mute ringer without user notification causing missed calls. Many more issues these are the top two. After 12 years of successful use of BB use this one has turned me away from BB I will probably not buy another one.

Nothing but problems

I've had this phone for about 6 months now and the problems are endless. I have to constantly restart in order for the mic to work, lots of missed texts and now losing service randomly. Have been sent a replacement once and the same issues soon became a problem on the new unit. I've never had a phone with so many persistent issues.
