Exactly what I was waiting for in a Blackberry!

Have used Blackberry's since "smartphones" came out -- the PRIV gives an all-around feature and function that I have been waiting for! There are a lot of options so understanding your new device is important -- especially around how to maximize battery life (if you have every feature turned on you reduce your batter life...duh!) Have to get use Android and google-centric but that will come in time. Thank you for keeping one of the best features - QWERTY physical keyboard!!!

Best Kept Secret

Sadly it is a secret. These phones are not promoted in the store. They think BlackBerry and never try to sell the fact that it's a high end Android phone. Having been a BB user I wish BB was still relevant in it's original form meaning the BB10 OS having the same support as the two mainstream players but it doesn't so this is the best alternative. A beautiful phone and great implementation of Android with the BlackBerry touch and quality. Give it a look.

Highly recommend Blackberry PRIV

I find easiest to use for business. I often need to send email and in the past with iPhone, Droid and Windows I spend more of my time correcting what I am sending than composing. The key board is much more efficient because you don't have the problem of overlap that you do with touch. Also, it is easy to read. I have found with iPhone, Droid and Windows that screens can be difficult to see in bright sun. The Blackberry is very user friendly and easy to navigate. When I went to the ATT store and requested Blackberry PRIV the salesperson asked if I was sure that was what I wanted because it wasn't very popular. Told him it was popular with me. I have had Blackberry phones previously, I am not a gamer, I don't watch movies or stream, but of course you can, I am a business person and from that perspective it is the best out there.

Was a little hesitant when trading in my Galaxy for the BlackBerry Priv and the current state of Blackberry. But after finding out the DTEC50 would only be offered as a direct buy from BB, I decided to give it a shot. Blackberry knocked it out of the park, it is the best decision I made to return to BB. If you are a multitasker to the extreme professional..this is the phone for you. Shame BlackBerry stayed out of the game so long because Samsung's and Apple's dominate and if this phone was introduced during the transition BlackBerry wouldn't be where they are at today and the brand wouldn't be in the lower tier of choices. This is a big boy/big girl phone for sure...absolutely love it without a single shred of disappointment. Way to go BlackBerry!!!

I bought this phone today, and I am really enjoying it. The phone runs quickly, the battery life is great, and the keyboard is fantastic.
About the keyboard: You never really appreciate how nice having one of these is. For example, when I'm entering data in on a mobile website, I can see much more of it. On my previous phones, I always ran into the issue of relevant information being outside of the screen because the keyboard took up so much space. Furthermore, it is a much nicer experience to write out emails, since I can see the message and don't have to worry about auto correct.

Bought this phone earlier today and so far I'm loving it! Phone feels very premium and the OS is very fluid and havnt noticed any lag...the camera is amazing and looks very nice even outside in low light...the curved screen makes the phone look very nice n sleek and well to be honest I never liked the blackberry 10 OS software but this new phone running Android is just amazing!!! you get very premium handset quality build along with Android and the ability to install any app in the Android play store, which I think blackberry was missing all along... And almost forgot the physical keyboard is pretty cool along with the on screen blackberry keyboard..both are actually very nice and would definitely recommend any one to try this new hybrid blackberry :P

I bought this phone a month after and upgraded from the Blackberry Bold 9900. I really like the phone and think it does an awesome job of combining Blackberry features with more universal applications and settings; however, I do miss some of the unique Blackberry features. I think the Blackberry HUB needs to resemble the Passport more and I wish the Android OS would allow me to set text message tone notification for different people. I also wish the notifications would disappear upon all platforms when I delete it in one. Aside from those quirks, the keyboard, screen, video quality, and quality if awesome!
