Wow Electrical Hazard

I have had Mr. Coffee machines for year and years. In the past decade I noticed the non stick finish on the burner plate would give out way too soon. This time on a machine less than a year old the whole hot plate is sinking! Pretty sure this is an electrical hazard! Good bye Mr. Coffee!

No heating element: Ridiculous

This machine has absolutely no means by which to keep coffee hot once it’s made. The carafe is also not insulated. Therefor, as soon as the coffee is made, it begins to cool rapidly. Unless you drink 12 cups in less time then it takes to cool, you will despise this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this and absolutely love it !! My husband drinks a whole pot off coffee each day, so he uses the pot side. I use the other side and put it in my yeti cup to take on the go. The 12 cup side is programmable so he sets it up the night before so it's ready to go in the morning. It has two settings so you can brew regular or bold coffee. You can use regular coffee grounds in both sides, or K cups in the single side. Would definitely recomend this !!

Loved It Until It Stopped Working

I received this Coffee Maker for Christmas as a replacement for another brand I had for 4+ years. I love the duel feature of being able to brew coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate. It worked great...until it didn't. With no warning, it stopped brewing coffee. The Brew Now button will blink, but it never heats up or brews. The tea maker still works, so I have been able to adapt and use the hot water for instant coffee. However, that is only a temporary fix.

Is there a power outage?
Is the water reservoir empty?
Is the filter basket properly inserted? filter and coffee grounds in place?
Is the carafe / decanter in proper position on warming plate?
Has the brewer been cleaned recently?
