stopped brewing in less than a year

I bought this coffee pot less than a year ago, all of a sudden, it will not brew, what is going on with this, I have never had a coffee pot go out so quick. Mr coffee is supposed to be one of the better brands, this is disappointing.

So my office has had this coffee maker for about 6months now. Recently started stopping mid brew.
I hopped on this website and read the reviews about people complaining cause it stopped working.
HEY NEGATIVE PEOPLE...GUESS WHAT FIXED IT? I grabbed some distilled water and filled the reservoir. Then I hit the clean button and let it run it's course. Problem solved.
Don't be lazy. If you're gonna fill your coffee maker with regular tap water that's high in mineral content, then you're gonna have to clean it.
**MY ONLY GRIPE: The dang thing doesn't have a keep warm function!?**

Not a great design...

I got this for Christmas last year and I can't use the hot water dispenser any longer. it smells like mildew and it always tastes like old coffee. I was only able to use the hot water dispenser the first few months I had it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does Not Last

My original review was moderated because they don't want consumers to know this coffee maker only lasts a short period of time they are not made to last. Read the reviews you will see there are many issues in relation to the coffee maker. I bought this coffee maker last yr in October its been 1 year 1 month and now it doesn't brew coffee anymore clock works , hot water on the side both work, push start to brew coffee it flashes and but never brews the warmer plate doesn't get hot and it makes no sounds of trying to move the water through the system. Completely disappointed, I bought this particular model because it did both, made coffee and dispensed hot water for coco or tea. For the cost it should last much longer than this. I cant afford to go buy new ones every year we live on a budget. I have always bought Mr. Coffee I am now using my Mr. Coffee mini 4 cup coffee maker which only technically makes 1cup which is extremely inconvenient when 2 people are drinking coffee. My warranty expired last month buyer beware. I now own a fancy hot water dispenser too bad I need a coffee maker right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great!

I bought this two years ago and love it. We use the coffee pot everyday and I just recently remembered I could be making my tea with it, after my electric kettle broke. I am only on this website because I broke my coffee carafe on my granite counter tonight. I think I will try the insulated carafe this time, hopefully I can’t break it! I highly recommend this coffee maker for anyone who loves coffee and likes tea sometimes too!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sharp edges

Just bought today. Where the handle meets the top of the coffee pot, there are two sharp plastic edges just inside at the top of the pot that cut my thumb while I was washing the pot before use.

What a disappointment!

We bought this coffee maker 5 months ago. We have always had Mr. Coffee products, and looked forward to having this model with the hot water capability. After about a month, it started acting up. During each brewing cycle, it turns off every few minutes and I have to continually push the "on" button to get it going again. This happens 10-12 times during the brewing cycle. Very frustrating, as I must stay by the unit to keep turning it on so I can get a full pot of coffee. This was not a cheap model, but it has been a huge disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped brewing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this machine since August. I got it as a gift and today it won’t brew coffee like the water isn’t getting to the coffee and then it just shuts off. I drink coffee everyday, multiple times a day. I’m very disappointed to be experiencing this with it being so new! My last coffee pot/machine lasted over 6 years.
