Nice windows phone

I got this phone so I could pair it up with my surface pro. It works great together. The only downside of this phone is some of the apps that the iphone has you cannot get on this one. But there are some apps that the iphone cant get and this can. If i had to do it all over again I might of went with the galaxy, but this will do well for 2 years.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Useless Without Battery That Verizon Does Not Offer!

My primary reason for choosing this phone was the replaceable battery. After receiving the phone I found Verizon does not offer a spare/replacement battery for this phone. Samsung does not offer a spare/replacement battery either. How can a manufacturer offer a phone without offering spare batteries? How can a carrier bring this phone to market without insuring spare batteries are available?
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: not supported by samsung

I bought this phone mainly because of the expandability provided by the micro SD slot. The comparable Nokia phones did not have one. I find the lack of a camera button to take pictures akward. Tapping the screen is the only method provided. I figured the volume buttons would work for it but no it has to be a screen tap. The phone gets hot when used with some apps and not necessarily graphic intensive ones. Battery life is not nearly as good as advertised and its very picky about what wall warts you can use to charge it with. I expected that Samsung would speedily address its issues with the Windows 8.1 update instead they do not seem to be addressing it at all. Since most Nokia devices are already able to upgrade and some are about to upgrade to 8.1.1 I am disappointed in Samsung's apparent lack of attention to its Windows phone customers. All that being said the screen quality is good as is the screen size. call quality is OK but the volume for the speaker is a little weak. instead of really wanting to compete in the Windows phone market which is rather small at present instead it appears that Samsung had a bunch of left over S4 chassis that it did not know what to do with. I doubt that I will ever buy another Samsung product of any kind.

The phone freezes

this phone freezes all the time. I have always liked Samsung in the past.
They do not live up to expectations on this phone.

Doesn't work well with 8.1

Nice phone overall but don't recommend updating to 8.1. Done the 8.1 preview for developers and wish I wouldn't have. Camera crashes all the time. Phone freezes up and have to remove the battery to unfreeze it. Scans the sd card for errors a lot even though there isn't nothing wrong with the card. If there could be a fix for the camera app, (my biggest complaint) I would really like the phone. Hope they come out with a fix soon. Would like to keep the phone but can't put up with that.

This phone has caused me more trouble than any other phone in my life. I purchased it, and within a week, it would no longer charge correctly. It would charge enough to turn on, then stop charging. Then it would die again, and charge itself enough to turn on again. That cycle went on until I went back to the store and exchanged it for another of the same kind. I took that one home and before I could even take all the plastic off, the screen glitched. It flashed but never stayed on. This is the worst phone. Do not buy it!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Beware this product for one big reason. The ringer defaults to a low level every time you turn off the device. If you want to be able to hear it ring, you have to turn it up EVERY time you turn the device on!!!!
