Makes good coffee, easy to clean and load. And a carafe I can't break. Plastics are, however, less sturdy of a material than I'd like.

Not worth it.

I received this as a gift and I've tried to love it but I can't. I replaced my Keurig with this and I've regretted it since. It doesn't work; the lid doesn't pour properly and I can't get it to brew. A loud beeping noise occurs when I try to brew or clean. I very disappointed with such an expensive coffeemaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than a Cuisinart!

I have had this unit for a year and it has worked perfectly. The coffee stays hot for several hours. Everything is convient. I have had a couple of Cuisinarts and they never last and settings were not easy to see. We use RO water and clean regularly, so a machine should last for quite awhile. We will see. Oops, almost forgot to say it also makes great coffee.

Finally found one that has everything!

I have had this for 5 months now and really like it. After trying 5 other coffee makers over the last 4 years I finally found all the features I wanted in one coffee maker: a removable water reservoir - no more pouring water in the top with a pitcher and having cabinet clearance issues; 12 cup stainless steel carafe; keeps coffee hot for a reasonable length of time; the coffee tastes great; and it fits under my cabinets on my counter top. I like this enough that I am tempted to buy another just in case they decide to discontinue this model.

We've had this coffee pot for about six months. The feature I like best is the speedy brewing. I've read many of these reviews, and I have found the thermal carafe very effective. Even after 6 hours the coffee is warm.

Easy to use, keeps coffee HOT over 2 Hours! Warm enough to enjoy for 4 hrs. We use RO water since we're on a well, so no need for the filter. Using 6 coffee scoops (2 Tbs ea) for 12 cups makes the perfect coffee for us. Love that there is no hot plate! Bought an extra reservoir, just in case one of us drops a full one ! Thanks Mr Coffee. Our first electric was yours...20 years ago!
