Keeps coffee hot, Really!

I was very pleasantly surprised with this product. Good coffee and it stays hot! I enjoy sipping on coffee, but always prefer it hot. I was pleasantly surprised at how hot the coffee stayed in the carafe. Easy to use, good coffee, and it stays hot! I received this product as a sample to review and have been very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Coffee maker meets my needs

The Mr Coffee Optimal brew boast a number of benefits in the advertisement. I found some to be very accurate and some to be a little disappointing. Mr Coffee suggest that a full pot can be brewed in 7 minutes, I found this to be pretty accurate. The coffee maker is fast and quieter than many I've owned. The coffee is supposed to brew at 205 degrees, not sure of the exact temp but it does brew very hot which is a good thing. In my opinion, the stainless steel thermal carafe is the best feature. The carafe is insulated so there is no need for a hot plate on the coffeemaker itself. This means I can take the carafe out on the back patio with me in the morning, the dinner table, or to my home office and the coffee will be hot cup after cup. I will say the first cup is the hottest and it seems that each following cup is a little cooler. The carafe will keep the coffee hot for at least an hour in my experience. The water reservoir is easy to get to and easy to fill. I also like having the coffee basket on the side and not the top. There is an alarm that sounds after two hours that reminds you that the coffee may be past peak freshness. Overall this coffeemaker suits my needs very well and I have been pleased with the performance. On my first review, I gave 3.5 stars because the first pot or two didn't taste as good as I had hoped, but after that the coffee has been very good so I have bumped it to 4 stars. I will add the fact that I received this coffeemaker as a sample to review. This is a coffee maker that I would purchase in the future.

Hassle Free Mornings

The Mr. Coffee Optimal Brew is the best coffee maker I have ever had. It's sleek, professional looking and very easy to use. I'm a busy mom that runs on coffee and this product has made my mornings so much easier. The removable water tank is awesome (no more spilling water all over my coffee maker while trying to fill it up), and the stainless steal carafe is much easier to clean than glass. The carafe surprised me on how insulated it is. My husband brewed coffee for me around 7 am and the coffee was hot all day long. I hate wasting coffee or having to microwave the leftovers in the afternoon. The only feature that I'm not a fan of are the light bars. They aren't always accurate and I don't think they're necessary. Overall, this is a simple yet sleek coffee maker that looks amazing in my kitchen and it makes my morning coffee experience hassle free. * I received this coffee maker as a sample to review

Thermal carafe keeps coffee hot!

I have been using this for about a month and love it! The best feature is the thermal carafe. It keeps your coffee got for hours. I especially love the convenient side features: water reservoir and coffee basket. The included water filter really does make a difference in the flavor and richness of the coffee. This machine is amazing!! The look is very sleek and the "blooming process" definitely enhances the flavor of the coffee. The thermal carafe gives the option of keeping the pot on the table when company comes. Love this machine and will certainly purchase again!!

Earlier Optimal Brew

I purchased the earlier edition of this coffee maker and it has performed beautifully. I would definitely purchase this model if the one I have dies. I have used it daily and it always makes the best coffee.

Best flavor!

I bought this last week and I am so pleased with the quality of the product and the coffee has excellent flavor even when I use 'cheap coffee'! So much better than my old pot with the same coffee. I'm also extremely impressed with the customer service offered by Mr Coffee.
