Very cheap quality

Online it looks amazing but in person looks very cheap quality material.
I used 2 times and broke.. not brewing coffee and there is no trouble shooting on manual for this problems, it started to beep and does not stop..

Disappointing

I was disappointed in this product. I did not think the coffee was any better than my cheap $30 coffee maker. I did not like the thermal carafe either. I do not think it keeps the coffee as hot and it leaves a metallic aftertaste in the coffee. I received this Product as a sole for testing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An average coffee maker

The water reservoir should have a handle for easy filling, and the display should be a little bit larger, and its digital display should be in a brighter blue to see it from further away. But over all its a good machine for the money.

Keep it buy your Sink...

Purchased 3 months ago. It brews a good pot of coffee. Problem is when you fill or empty the coffee grinds, it drips water all over the counter top. seems to me it is because of the design. The pot also drips when I pour the coffee into cups. I keep this coffee maker next to my sink....

We're happy you're getting a great cup of coffee. We do recommend lifting the filter out of the brew basket to empty your coffee grounds. To best pour your coffee, ensure the button on the handle is fully pressed and the carafe is held in the proper position. IT'S OK I GUESS

My family and I got the Mr. Coffee Optimal Brew SCTX Series a little over a year ago. While it does look really appealing on the counter and the coffee stays considerably warm those are about the only 2 things i can really point out to people. I myself do regular cleanings of the machine and the filter, but never since day 1 have we had an outstanding cup of coffee. I mean it tastes just the same as the cheap one we had. The other problem we have noticed is sometimes when i set up the pot and turn it on the pot just beeps constantly and the LED light for the "Brew Now" Button constantly flashes. The pot it self and the inside of the machine build up with deposits rather quickly. You can get the same taste in your coffee, a programmable machine, and a descent look purchasing a cheaper machine.

Great coffee maker!

Bought about a month ago and really like the coffee maker, keeps the coffee nice and hot for a couple of hours. The only thing I don't like about it is the coffee filter door does not stay together so finally just took the filter out. Don't think it makes much difference with or without it anyway.

Love the thermal carafe

I received this item as a Christmas gift, I have had a great number of coffee makers and this one is just ok. The previous maker allowed me to make my coffee strong and use less coffee , this pot does not have this feature and I really miss that feature and it is costing me more money for coffee.

Nice Maker

I bought this a coouple months ago and really like not having a hot plate. The carafe keeps it hot well beyound 2 hrs and is cool to the touch. The only draw back I have that gave this a 4 star, is the pouring of the coffee, really is poor, it is SO SLOW to come out. I now just loosen the top and away from the container just enough to pour, but keep your hand / fingers to the side, the streem is very hot. If it were not for this defect, I would have given it a 5 star. Just who checks these things at the factory anyway? Couldn't they see this?!?!
I would recommend this to a friend!
