All the right features

I now have the 12 cut model that I bought to replace the 10 cut model which I gave to my son who's in college. Love the stainless steel pot as it looks great but most importantly, keeps coffee HOT for hours! Another fantastic feature is the removable water container. So much easier to lift it off and take it to the sink to fill and easily fit it right back on the coffee maker. Coffee is very hot and brews quickly. The additional filter is another really nice plus. Better water, better coffee. I would, and have recommended this to friends. Excellent and well thought out coffee maker that looks great in new kitchens featuring stainless steal appliances.

I bought the 12 cup to replace my old 10 cup version. I like the thermal carafe, it keeps the coffee hot and fresh tasting for a long time. I do not like leaving coffee on a heater as that seems to ruin the flavor so this is the best coffee maker for me. Program it and the coffee is freshly brewed when I get to the kitchen. The only negative is I have to push the coffee basket in with a gentle slam or the coffee maker will not brew..

Sadly it leaks and I need to call Mr. Coffee to see about returning it after the new year’s. We like the way it’s made and how it looks but can’t continue using it with small puddles of coffee dripping as we always poor our cups.

the first one leaked when pour coffee. It leaked from joint of black plastic and stainless were joined together. They sent me a free replacement that I have no problems with

Upgraded my 7 year old 10 cup optimal brew with this one. Highly recommended if you want a good cup of coffee with the convenience of having a carafe. Also, the carafe doesn’t leak as you pour your cup like many other brands I’ve used.
