but it to replace an old 12 cup coffee maker...wanted the thermal carafe because i didnt like burnt coffee taste....this thing is great my coffee stays really hot for over 3 hours and then begins to cool...but i have tested it out a few times...and coffee stays above 85 degrees even after 12 hours....yes i know thats not great drinking temp but 30 seconds in the microwave and it taste just like it did when it was made....

Removable water basket is great, no need for another container. Makes coffee very quick, especially when mankind just a couple cups at a time. Larger pot is very nice for when company comes over. Have used for a couple months with no issues at all! Great coffee maker.

I received this product a few weeks ago and it performs as I would it expected. I do have one concern when I try to put it on time brew it doesn't activate the light. I have to reset the time again before it functions. This has happened at least 3 times.

We have had this coffee maker about 2 months and love it. We had a Mr. Coffee 8-cup thermal unit and wanted a larger carafe. When first brewed, the coffee is hotter than with our old unit, and we like the side-removable features for the basket and the water tank. We don't use the 'fullness viewer'. It's hard to see and we can tell about how full it is by the weight of the carafe.

I bought the coffee maker because similar to the one I have but larger. Unfortunately, the top leaks out the spout when pouring and dribbles down the pot.

I have had other high end coffee makers and the coffee they made was not nearly as good as Mr. Coffee. My husband and I drink at least two 12 cup pots a day. The insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot, but is a bit heavier than I would like. The removable water reservoir makes it easy to fill. Likewise the coffee "drawer" slides in easily.
