I love it - so far

We have had this machine for about a month now. It works beautifully, but it does have a couple of minuses. First the plusses: It makes wonderful espresso with great crema. It works fast. It is a little noisy, but not that bad. Now the minusses: You need to wipe excess grounds off of the filter above where the coffee filter attaches each time as it does get quite messy; you need to watch what is going on as the machine does NOT shut off automatically, but this is minor. All in all - we would recommend this machine.

I must have been a lucky one my machine works beautifully. I was weary at first I had read the reviews but the deal was too great to pass and i'm glad I did not. I am getting ready to purchase one for my office!

I've been a Starbucks customer for a few years now and have been interested to find an affordable way to make my favorite drink at home to hopefully drink it for less money in the long run. I have asked around about espresso and watched what baristas pull and for the price this gets pretty close! I unpacked the machine from the box, followed the instructions, and by my second latte(once I realized I should probably follow a recipe) I was very pleased. This met my expectations.

Harder metal frothing tip needed

I have one and only one problem with this unit. The frothing tip is made of very soft metal and strips quite rapidly. I like to remove the tip to clean both the tip and wand. I'm also careful when I replace the tip but to no avail. If the tip is removed and replaced for routine cleaning it is going to strip in a relatively short time. If it could be made of a stronger metal the until would approach perfection.

I LOVE LOVE this espresso machine. It HAS NOT FAILED me . I use it every day and it tastes just like day 1. I have had this machine 4 over 6 months now. ENJOY YOUR COFFEE !

Amazing Favor!

I bought this to replace a $40 Krups that exploded. I'm an experienced barista. I'm using a Sumatra and a cheap oval grinder. It only took me about three weeks to make perfect double, triple and quad lattes. I decided to leave this review after the third perfect cup in a row.

The coffe maker is dripping all the water.

I bougt this machine just 6 months ago. And is driping the water from under the machine. The tray is empty... I used to like it but i will have to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
