For the Most Part Great

This espresso maker overall was very good.The instructions did not make a whole lot of sense at first, I actually had to look up a video to figure out how to properly use it. After I figured out how to use it, it was easy and I make espresso about once a day. It is easy to clean and the water reservoir is removable so it is easy to fill up as well. The only thing I wish is that it came with espresso cups as well as a frothing pitcher. I had to buy those separately, but it would have been nice if this was an all in one kind of deal. Overall the quality was a lot better than I expected and the espresso it makes is pretty good. I did receive this product as a sample in return for a honest review.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Italian son LOVES it!!!!!!

I got it for him for Christmas and so far so good. He's traveled Italy and is a coffee/Espresso connoisseur. Has been for years. Not just Italian coffee.
This unit replaced a single cup Espresso maker. He needed one that makes a double shot for his long days on the job.
The bottom grill is removable which allows him to place a mug under the spouts for his double.
I just put him to the test by offering to purchase a different unit, thinking maybe he just claims to like it so he doesn't hurt my feelings. (He's a real good son!!!!) Nope! He likes this one!!!!!!
This part is very important to me. The water container is BPA free! I did a LOT of research and no other manufacturer makes one with a BPA free water holder.

Excellent for the investment

I have had my machine for over 5 years. I use it for my morning espresso drink. I rarely use the steamer, but when I did, as long as I maintain the machine with the recommended cleaning, I have had no issues. I just recently have started having problems with the espresso coming out poorly. Pressure builds up then explodes out. I am purchasing a replacement filter holder in the hope that the new rubber gasket will solve the problem. I have been very pleased with the hundreds of dollars I have saved by not going to the coffee shop every morning.

Great coffee but only last around a year

I love the way the way my espresso comes out it’s nice and creamy but espresso maker only last around a year, I am on my 4th one, it’s time to find something better

Great Value

So far this has been a great machine for the price! It's fairly simple to use and makes a fantastic cup of coffee. The unit is compact and fits well on the counter and the stainless steel accent pieces go with my other kitchen appliances. My only issue is that I wish the for thing wand were longer as you can't froth milk in a mug, it's too short. I also wish it were more powerful as this doesn't seem to be strong enough and essentially just heats the milk. Clean up is simple. Overall, a decent maker for the price and I recommend it!
*I received this Espresso Machine as a sample to review, and am very happy I did because I love it!

Great Coffee, but always fails after 1.5-2 years

We bought our 1st one of these I think in 2007. We have since gone through 6-7 of them now. They only tend to last 1.5 - 2 years, each time. (just in time for the year warranty to be over) The price is affordable, and we are pretty addicted to our coffees we make with this several times a day. (love the taste) We have tried others when one breaks, and end up returning it to buy a new one of these again. After our 1st fail I learned very quickly to clean it well, and often. They defiantly leak like other reviewers, I had one that was so bad I had to sit it ontop of a cake pan. Mine have failed due to pump no longer pumping, crazy blinking lights (machine doesn't work at all, 2 of them did this), milk frother fail, and now this one as of today (pictures attach) Uggg, just bought a little over a year ago. The plastic screw that holds the spring and the circle thing in where you attach the brewer basket broke during coffee making. Once I removed the basket from the machine these parts were sitting in my coffee grinds. This same thing happened once before several months ago with this same machine. I was lucky enough to have my previous busted machine still in the garage and used the plastic screw off that one to fix. This time we are not so lucky and will be without coffee tomorrow :( Not looking foward to having to go buy ANOTHER one of these. Wish they lasted longer!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is great! I was not expecting a $1200+ espresso maker. And it is not a $1200+ espresso maker. But it sure does make good espresso for less than the cost of 25 double espressos at that *bucks place.

Works great but leaks

I've owned this machine for about a year. It works far better than my last one. Heats fast. Pumps well and I can make more than one cup without fear of scalding myself adding more water.
From day one it leaked a little. In the last several weeks it has become a lot. We thought it might be leaking during it's cleaning cycle. Now I no longer believe that. I'm not sure yet if it leaks all the time or only while in use. The water is room temperature.
