pretty good tea, but other issues

The most obvious thing with this is the pitcher - treat it with the utmost care, Take a pillow off your bed to cradle it, as it's very fragile. I bought a whole other unit just for the pitcher as I was not extremely careful & placed the pitcher on the kitchen counter just a bit un-gently & saw tea running out from the bottom. I can't over-emphasize this.
The other issue I notice is inconsistent brewing cycles. If I fill the water reservoir to capacity, aa brewing cycle may end with half the water remaining to very little water remaining, which effects the quantity of tea it produces. Re-starting the process to try to use all the remaining water when it short cycles is futile, as it only stays on for a few seconds before aborting the cycle. It seems totally random as to the length.
But otherwise, the tea you do manage to get & if you can keep the pitcher intact, is good/
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift a couple years ago. I love this iced tea maker. It is consistent, easy to use and makes a great brewed iced tea.

Recieved in September. Stopped Working in January

My wife bought me this as a birthday gift in Sept 2021 to replace the Mr Coffee Tea Maker that I have had for 5 years. It worked great until the last week of January. I pressed the button and nothing happened. Not very happy. I have had tea makers from Mr Coffee for at least a decade and this one didn't even make it 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To remedy this issue, try unplugging the machine and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. You can also try to plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. We suggest to not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the machine's performance.

Love but leaks

For the first Year it worked great made good tea but now it is leaking all over the counter. Not sure if I want to buy another one. Wish it didn't leak.

No worries, we are here to help. For a possible fix, please check the hose in the reservoir, make sure it is snug on connection. Also, check the filter basket for any drips down the back of the basket onto the trip arm and warming plate and make sure that the water is not exceeding the max line in the water reservoir. Lastly, please run a cleaning cycle into it if the machine hasn't been cleaned recently.
Your iced tea maker has a year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly in order to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

Shuts off in the middle of brewing

I have only made ice tea in this a handful of times. It shuts off In the middle of the brew. This picture is after I have hit the brew button 4 times

Pitcher cracked soon after buying. Same with repla

2 iced tea makers were both crap. The one with the glass pitcher needed a replacement very quickly and the replacement broke, too, simply by adding ice......to an "iced" tea maker. The newer model with the plastic pitcher broke within 5 uses. Very disappointed!

Love this Iced Tea Maker

You have to be careful with the glass pitcher but it is worth it. It is nicer looking than the plastic pitchers. That being said, someone actually threw out the mesh filter basket. I was trying to find a replacement part but I can’t find it. Is this part still available?
