Great while it worked...

I purchased this machine for my parents as a Christmas present this past December 2018. Worked fine but within a couple of months it stopped working. I have an espresso machine, drip coffee machine, and a burr grinder machine by Mr. Coffee. Have had them for a while with no problems, but this machine gave out too soon :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped Working after 2 Months

I bought this tea maker about 2 months ago to replace another Mr Coffee tea maker with a plastic pitcher that cracked. I thought the glass pitcher would last longer than the previous plastic one. I was quite surprised, as many on here, that the glass was so incredibly thin! I am afraid of any accidental bump that may shatter the whole thing. Luckily, that has not happened yet. What has happened is the machine will no longer turn on! It was used about twice a week with no problems and then suddenly no longer works. When it is plugged in, button pushed and nothing happens. This seems to be a common problem with this model, after reading reviews. User Manual says not to return it to the store, but call and a 'convenient service center address will be provided.' It should not need to fixed after 2 months!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes great tea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mother in law bought us one for Christmas. My son has never been a fan of my tea made on the old way, he never drank any of it. When I started using the tea maker he now drinks my tea - that’s a good rating. Thank you Mr. Coffee for making this tea maker it’s super easy and convenient & apparently tastes great, I’m not a tea drinker, just a maker - lol
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a SERIOUS iced tea drinker. It is basically ALL I drink. So, I have been brewing tea for decades. This is the my favorite of all the tea makers I have ever owned. A++++++

You must hold lid on while pouring otherwise, it falls out and tea goes everywhere...How to get a tighter lid???

Water will not all brew with 1 button push.

I bought this ice tea maker a few months ago and I like it but I have to press the button 2 or 3 times to get all the water to go through. Not sure, what the problem is. I cleaned it and that did not help.

Great Iced Tea!

I'm an iced tea drinker. Winter or summer. Have been for over 40 years. I like strong iced tea. I've used all the different machines over the years and I think this machine is the best so far.
It's very easy to make great iced tea. A pitcher will last me a few days. You just fill up the pitcher with ice. Note - I did buy a few extra pitchers because they're glass and eventually they do break. But they've been pretty durable, lasting at least a year, which I think is great. And you can order the pitchers on the Mr. Coffee site. I've even tried using other pitchers, but the Mr. Coffee replacements are better.

I use 8 round tea bags (4 Tetley Green Tea and 4 Tetly British Blend). And I don't add any sugar. I do add Naked Mango to my tea bottle (32 oz. HydroFlask) most days and lots of ice. Sometimes I'll add fresh lemon or True Lemon.
If you like Iced Tea like I do. You'll love the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Cafe Iced Tea Maker.
