I purchased this to have an extra shaker cup and realized it does not work with my vita mix unit. The shaker cup it came with is huge and has what seems like a magnetic strip inside the rim of cup. Sad this did not work for me.

As part of the settlement I has $70 to on a limited choice of items. I choose the 20 oz cup thinking that I could put it to good use. Unfortunately it was the wrong size for my Vitamix. I wasn’t prepared to spend more money on the correct model. Basically my settlement was a waste of money.

Be careful when you order. This 20 oz cup is not compatible with my vitamix blade attachment! So essentially to me it is useless.

I like the idea of this cup so purchased it with the hope that it would be a quality item (as my Vitamix). The lid is awful and takes way too much pressure to open the spout. I have given up on it. At first I thought it just needed to be worked a few times but this thing is way to tight. I am very disappointed.
