Not dishwasher safe

I have 2 of these larger cups they claim dishwasher safe I always used the top rack but they are still ruined. Water gets inside the plastic some how causing the metal strip inside to rust ant then the machine cannot read them . They are great cups if you don’t wash in dishwasher

This product is so dangerous

After making a smoothie, I cycled water and soap. I slowly unscrewed the blades. The very hot water exploded out of the cup and the bottom flew off. The scalding water sprayed my arm and wrist.
I immediately run it under cold water, but It still blistered up and eventually took my skin off. Please be careful with this cup. It is a very poor design and dangerous.

Poorly Designed

This cup is too narrow at the bottom. Although, it would fit in a car cupholder. Vitamix needs to offer another type of cup that is wider at the bottom to enable all ingredients to be mixed to well. I wish this was designed like the magic bullet brand.

Do not recommend! Badly designed

What a badly designed product this is. Doesn’t blend properly, often find chucks no matter how long blend, items get stuck inside, like fruits. The base leaks and gasket fails often. Hard to open and close. It’s also very difficult to clean because the cup is so narrow at the bottom. I would not buy this again nor would I recommend it. Such a hassle, which defeats the point of having it. Other brands make much better travel cups.
