Great Wash

Great replacement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We thought our old washer was a good sized one, not compared to this jewel. After 15 years of use the last one finally gave up the ghost. That Electrolux only had a single service call on it, and we are hoping this one will be much the same. Great product!

headache

I bought this with matching dryer in febuary 2017 and nothing works right. both machines will power up at any given time but not actually run a cycle, this will happen at we hours in the morning and wake me up(of course cant go back sleep now) and make its power up chimes. washer vibrates whole house including deck and is rather noisy. dryer interior light works when it wants to and sometimes is very dim and will not shut off for a long time. the dryer also will only run a partial cycle and will either turn off completely or just pause. I timed a cycle yesterday (5/4/17) when I started dryer it said 83 minutes and only ran 45 minutes then shut off - clothes still damp!:( . I have had these issues since day one and unable to return! also you are suppose to be able to reverse the dryer door but when I do the latch does not line up and I even exchanged dryer for another om day 2 and same issue! talk about a waste of money upgrading from top load. I have never lost so much sleep in my life!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes, johnny larue! I can imagine your frustration! I would love to see what we can do to help. Please make sure you do not have the Delay Start feature activated on either appliance, which may be causing it to start in the middle of the night. You can read more about this feature on page 14 of the following manual:

If this does not appear to be the problem, try resetting the appliance to factory default settings. To do this, wake up the console by pressing power. Wait at least 10 seconds, and then press the "soil" and the "options" buttons simultaneously until you hear a chime. If the issue still remains, please reach out to me by email at socialcare@electrolux.com with more details. I will be happy to offer further troubleshooting or schedule a service appointment to have a technician take a look at this for you. Best Wishes, Brandi

Love my new Electrolux washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new washer (and matching dryer) for about a month. Although it's quite different than my previous basic top loader, has been very easyto use. Love all the wash cycle options and the mess-free soap and bleach dispensers. The washer uses so much less water and spin cycle leaves clothes only slightly damp. Plus the washer (and dryer) are both so quiet when they operate - a very nice surprise!

Nice Basic Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer a few months ago. It washes well. I had to replace a perfect steam washer that had a drum failure after 5 years. It is a little basic compared to the perfect steam one, but it does the trick. Couldn't afford a direct replacement, but I am satisfied with this model. Just wish it had a light inside so I could see what I have added in better.
