[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had these for about a month now and so far very happy with performance and quietness. Also 20 minute wash is a great feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new washer and dryer. The only thing I would change is I wish the control panel lit up. Unfortunately I had to stack my dryer on top due to space issues. I have to use a flash light to see the cycles I want to use.

Washer on 2nd floor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was advertised as guaranteed for 2nd floor but I am still hearing the vibration during its spin cycle. I'm not happy about the vibration factor as I paid more for this machine hoping to avoid that. Other comparable machines cost less so I'm thinking I paid too much.

Thank you for choosing Electrolux, Kirk! There are several things that can contribute to vibrational sounds, all are related to installation issues: The washer needs to be resting firmly on the floor. The washer must be level (both front to back and side to side), with each washer leg placed solidly on the floor. You can adjust the leveling legs by turning the legs slightly in or out until the washer sets solidly on the floor, then tighten the lock nuts. For maximum stability, leveling legs should not extend more than one-half inch below the washer bottom. •The washer needs to be installed on a sturdy, hard floor. It is not recommended that you install the washer on carpeting. •Shipping materials may not have been removed during the installation. You may refer to your Installation instructions to remove the five shipping bolts, five yellow spacers, and four plastic “P” clamps from the back of the washer. Make sure the Styrofoam shipping blocks have been removed from the bottom of the washer. •The load may be off balance. Pause the cycle, wait for the safety lock to release on the door, and redistribute the clothes evenly in the washer. If the load remains out of balance, simply add one or two similar items to the load and restart the washer. If you still have questions, please don’t hesitate to reconnect with us directly for assistance. We are here for you! Ruth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Short instruction manual so I was able to start washing right away. The machine is user friendly and straight forward. The tub is plenty large enough for all my needs.

Jury's still out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased end of 7/16. Not delivered until 8/19/16 to new home. Moved in on 8/31/16. First time use of this washer flashed an error message, E11. Place of purchase was out the following day & found that washer was shipped from the factory with too short a hose to connect up correctly. Therefore, there was water on the floor behind the washer. Place of purchase had to order a longer hose from Electrolux which should have accompanied the washed originally but didn't. Poor QC at the factory level. Waited more than a week for longer hose to be delivered then to be hooked up, a difficult process since the washer & dryer are stacked & had to be separated. It's now running okay after the correct hose was installed. I'm not sure that I would recommend this product because of the aforementioned. And although the washed is quiet, water is left after spin in the detergent bins, clothes don't seem well spun & carry water to the dryer & I have to leave the washer door open for the water droplets left on tub & door to dry out or the water stays in the tub. Not sure if this is another problem with the spin cycle. Perhaps you could help with these questions.

Demitasse, I regret to hear of your frustration from this installation experience. Your washer should have come with the standard 59” drain hose, for installations requiring a longer drain hose (page 4 in the installation instructions), we do list the part number for the recommended longer hose. Small amounts of water remaining in the bleach and fabric softener compartments, is a result of the siphoning action and is normal. Water may be removed by removing the dispenser drawer (pages 21-22 in your Owner’s Manual) and draining the water into the empty drum or a sink. If your wash load is too wet after spinning, the washer could be overloaded, under loaded, the load may be out of balance, or the drain hose may have a kink in it. The water tight seal is amazing on our front load washers! We recommend to leave the door open with the door stand ventilation feature for a few hours after use, or whenever the washer is not in use to help prevent odors or humidity accumulation (page 21 in your Owner’s Manual). If you have any further questions, please reconnect with us directly at 877-435-3287 for assistance. Have a great day! Ruth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine after speaking to two local repair people. It was their recommendation that I acted on and I am glad I did. The machine is quiet and uses so little water I wondered if it could do the job. It can! I am very happy with the storage pedistal. It makes the height of the machine easy on my back and provides significant storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine a month ago. It cleans the clothes really well. One load of clothes in the new machine equals two loads in my old front loader. It doesn't lift out pet hair. Not even with extra rinse. Not enough water.
