Our old washer went out so we purchased new washer (EFLS517SIWO) and dryer (EFME517SIWO) to have a matched set. They are both nice, but a few things we don't like. One thing is that the end of cycle chime is only audible if you are standing next to the machine, our old one we could hear it in the upstairs living room. Another is that at the end of a wash cycle, soap suds are still hanging around the door area, so when you go to take them out you brush up against the suds. We have also had a few times where the cloths were still very wet after the load was supposed to be done in the washer. We have not had any problems with the dryer other than the quiet chime.. All in all I would say that these are very average machines.

Suds still hanging around and clothes still too wet after a spin can be related to using too much detergent, or not using an HE detergent (page 28 in your Owner’s Manual).
