great washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the dryer 6 weeks ago. Then the washer went so we bought the companion washer. So far so good. Easy to use. Uses less water & detergent than the old machine. Clothes, towels & bed linen come out feeling softer than before.

It does a good job of cleaning the clothes with the steam feature, and I like that I can pause it to add something I've forgotten. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

Easy to use, does not rinse well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very straightforward to use, but even if I use a very small amount of liquid detergent I usually have to run an additional rinse & spin in order to rinse all the soap out. I also which that the 18 minute wash option allowed you to add an extra rinse, even though it would take longer. This machine also causes water hammering, which my previous machine did not do.

I hate that you are not fully satisfied with your washer. Typically, using the wrong detergent or too much detergent can possibly cause the matter you are experiencing. Running a rinse cycle and using the proper amount of low-sudsing, high efficiency detergent can assist with your matter.

Beware the spin cycle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our washer of 17 years, finally died! Because of the layout of our laundry room, we were limited on the washers that we could use. Needed a washer with a reversible door and we were limited on depth. In general, I'm happy with the features of the washer and how it cleans our laundry. However, I would consider it a LOUD washer! And watch out for the spin cycle. I ALWAYS use the lowest spin setting regardless of what I'm washing. Anything more than that, and the whole house vibrates! Anything left sitting on top of the washer gets vibrated off The washer is leveled so that isn't the issue. For the price we paid, doesn't seem like we should have these issues. Not sure I'd recommend this washer for that reason.
