Sleek and quiet

Large drum, many drying options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer has many drying options. The drum is very large and dries clothes well. The drum is well lit. Noise level is very quiet.
Negatives are minor....the start button is recessed and hard to push, especially with fingernails. The lint trap fills quickly and seems too small in proportion to drum size.

Well built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this unit a month and so far I am happy with the purchase. The unit is huge and I can wash comforters and dog beds that did not fit into my old smaller unit. The wash options are robust and I can set and forget until it is done. I had a front loader for 15 years, so that is not new to me. I am used to the spin cycle, loading and leaving the door open to let it dry out. I was hoping it would be quieter, but with single large items it is quiet. Loads of lots of little stuff are noisier and that is just the clothing being tossed around. The draining and spin cycle operations are quieter than my old unit. I had the door switched and the technician told me he did not get to work on these units often as they don't have problems. I find the end beeps annoying but the light inside is surprisingly nice. On the grey model the color of the control panel is a slight miss-match and as an artist I find that annoying too. Buy white unless like ours your room is open and you just styled it for a grey color scheme.

Flooded room 3 times while unplugged

It turned out to be a horror show of continual failures. 6 weeks after the original purchase, I now have a new washer. At the same time, my 5 year old Electrolux dryer stopped heating correctly and needed a new control box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
